Children's Sunday School
Sunday Morning @ 9:00am
We offer Sunday school for children of all ages:
- Baby Nursery
- Our volunteers happily take your babies and spend the hour Praying, Engaging, and sharing Jesus with them!
- Walkers
- Our volunteers graciously welcome our walkers for songs, games, lessons, and crafts!
- Pre-K to 3rd Grade
- Our teachers walk through the "Explore the Bible" curriculum provided by Lifeway.
- 4th - 5th Grade
- Our teachers are walking through John Piper's "Names of God" curriculum with our older students.
Children's Church
Sunday Morning During the Preaching Time
As part of our family-based approach to worship, children are invited to sit with parents in the worship center during the first half of our worship hour at 10:15. They will enjoy singing worship songs with our praise team. Also, watch as we partake in the Lord's Supper. Halfway through the service, children ages 3 - 6 are dismissed to our children's church area so that the sermon which they normally hear is fully directed at their learning ability. They will also enjoy video-driven songs, games, and an open question-answer forum that doesn't normally happen in a traditional worship setting. Our children rotate through two main teaching materials:
- Kevin DeYoung's "Biggest Bible Storybook"
- Collin Hansen's "The New City Catechism"
These offer a perfect blend of Bible Stories and rich theology!
AWANA
Wednesday Evening's @ 6
AWANA Ministry for kids is our Wednesday night program, that starts at 6:45pm, which involves children ages 2 - 12. The name is taken from the phrase "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" (from 2 Timothy 2:15) There are five main portions of AWANA night: Opening Rally, Large Group Time, Small Group Time, Game Time, and Closing Rally!
